Wow, what a harvest season this has been. From the unusually early Spring warmup we received, threatened by frosts in April, beautifully warm&sunny through the summer and early Fall, a bit of rain in late September, then beautiful weather again in October; this has been an exceptional year!
I just spent a couple of hours taking Camilo and other friends on impromptu tours through the vineyards, tasting ripe Viognier, Cab Sauv and Cab Franc grapes, and it sure is beautiful out here 🙂 We’ll have grapes another couple of weeks to taste, be sure to ask in the tasting room!
